A Double Manned Crew can carry out their shift for a maximum of 21 hours in a 30 hour period - often there are parts in and out of the EU where the driving lengths and delays incurred can mean a single driver would find difficulty. Not only do Double Manned teams provide greater flexibility, they also provide extra safety.
